I do see it as a hate crime, and this is part of the issue is that hate crimes against Asian-Americans are severely underrepresented.

What are you going to do, Mr. President, and all elected officials to protect the Asian-American community?

Well, I`m flabbergasted that there would be those no votes. But unfortunately, in this day and age, I`m not surprised. It`s sickening.
