Yes, I will oppose the amendment. I have great respect for Senator Dorgan who, on a number of things, has shown real insight, including standing up on the issue of intangible assets, which is one of those issues someday somebody is going to hear about that will be important. I might mention that the former actuary for 23 years for the Social Security Administration, the chief actuary, Bob Myers has sent a letter to me saying the only way to protect the Social Security fund is by passage of the balanced budget amendment.
