Roland Burris: “The responsible drawdown of troops in Iraq continues forward as planned.”

We have to stop putting everything out in the--I am sorry.

But how do you reconcile that with, we will begin to assess it?

So you could then withdraw one battalion or a squadron can go home and say, 'well, now we've started our withdrawal,' and then we halt it to see because we don't know what the conditions are?

Let us not abandon those men and women.
