in 2\1/2\ years, we have added $2.5 trillion to the Nation's debt and 2.5 million Americans have lost their jobs. As Ronald Reagan used to say, facts are a stubborn thing, quoting former President John Adams. In the short order of 2\1/2\ years, 2.5 million Americans have lost their jobs, 45 million Americans are without health insurance. $1 trillion worth of corporate assets have been foreclosed on, and 2 million Americans have come out of the middle class to poverty, and we have added $2.5 trillion to the Nation's deficit. A record like that is starting to give mismanagement a bad name.
