Can you blame the American people for being dissatisfied with Washington? The most crucial issue facing our country is the need to create jobs and grow our economy, but what do the American people see? A government run amok. House Republicans know how important it is to hold the government accountable to the people. After all, that's where power comes from in a democracy. And we know that we can't grow our economy with massive, bloated bureaucracy standing in the way. House Republicans are committed to clearing out the underbrush, cutting waste, and fixing broken government. It's our constitutional duty to provide effective oversight of the executive branch, and that's just what we're going to do. That's how we secure a good future for all Americans. ____________________
