That same survey showed that 80 percent of Americans want us to do everything in our power to prevent war with China. This particular bill, H.R. 8036, is critical in preventing war with China by increasing deterrence against their aggression through foreign military financing of our partners, upgrading the industrial submarine base, and replenishing our defense stocks. Madam Speaker, I strongly urge support of H.R. 8036. We cannot wane in the defense of democracy.”
