Mr. Speaker, I am pleased to see the inclusion of the Promoting High-Value Health Care Through Flexibility for Deductible Health Plans in this bill today. This is legislation that is bipartisan that I introduced, along with the Congressman from California (Mr. Thompson), that gives consumers the choice and flexibility that they need to be engaged in their healthcare. In a nutshell, the bill allows plans to offer coverage for high- value, low-cost services like telehealth, chronic disease management such as diabetic testing strips, or primary care visits below the deductible. In a nutshell, what we are trying to do is give patients more choices, more capacity to be more demonstrative about navigating through their own healthcare needs. This is a good bipartisan approach. I thank the gentlewoman for including it, and I thank her for the time. I urge its passage.
