I wanted for say how emphatically I support each of the statements we have just heard. It is embarrassing at this point in the 20th century that we have to go to this effort just to maintain the value of an economic guarantee that has been with us for 60 years. It is as if the 20th century did not happen on the other side of the aisle, or should not have. I hope the woman, the lady who wrote the Senator, will not have done so in vain. A beautiful letter and beautifully described.
