Could I just say that the present reports on the unemployment rate at 5.3 percent and the increasing reports of labor shortages around the country mean if ever there was a moment in which to make this appropriate adjustment, maintaining the value of the minimum wage, this is the moment. And the Senator from Massachusetts could not be more congratulated, in my view, for the energy with which he has pressed it. Let us hope tomorrow we pass it.
