The entire purpose of ESEA was to improve the status of education for all of our children in this country regardless of their ZIP Code or their special needs status. Let's keep these standards for paraprofessionals intact. I urge my colleagues to vote for this bipartisan amendment to support teachers and students. I yield back the balance of my time.
