Mr. Speaker, on rollcall No. 211, I inadvertently voted ``aye'' when I intended to vote ``no'' on final passage of H.R. 2217, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act. The addition of the Amendment to H.R. 2217 offered by Mr. King altered the true intent of the bill. Mr. King's Amendment would prohibit the use of prosecutorial discretion by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, preventing Immigration and Customs Enforcement from focusing its limited enforcement resources on those who pose a real threat to public safety and national security.
