The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle C of title I, add the following new section: SEC. 132. ELIMINATION OF AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FOR PROCUREMENT OF V 22 OSPREY AIRCRAFT. Notwithstanding the amounts set forth in the funding tables in division D, the amount authorized to be appropriated in section 101 for aircraft procurement, Navy, as specified in the corresponding funding table in division D, is hereby reduced by $1,303,120,000, with the amount of the reduction to be derived from Line 009 V 22 (Medium Lift) as set forth in the table under section 4101. The amount of such reduction shall not be available for any purpose other than deficit reduction. The Acting CHAIR.
