Luis Gutiérrez: “The US citizens of Puerto Rico public must be heard!”

The United States Congress, which imposes rules, out of our control, which make it impossible to get our act together.

We, the US Citizens of Puerto Rico; hereby let it be known, have had extensive patience awaiting for the United States Congress to resolve the status of Puerto Rico!

If you really believe in democracy, justice, government by the consent of the governed, you must not hesitate any further or give any more excuses.

So, don't let anyone tell you that statehood will somehow diminish our cultural pride and heritage.
