Lori Lightfoot: “We have got to do a better job of who we allow to be police officers.”

I'm determined. I'm resolute, I've said enough is enough. And we're going to get our kids back to in-person learning.

We've got to make sure that we use every tool in our toolkit. And it's -- soft power is more, much more effective than the hard power of law enforcement for this particular problem.

We're in a good, I think, a place with both our Governor and the White House.

I think we've made significant progress over the last few days. But I want to deal done this weekend. Our kids need back -- be back in school, schools are safe.
