I am so thrilled that you joined us as we gaveled in this committee's first-ever hearing in the Illinois 14th Congressional District.

I am proud that these policies were included in H.R. 1, the For the People Act, which we passed in the House in March.

I can't stress enough the importance of today's hearing and the educational benefit that it has provided to our committee and to the public.
