The letter that I have chosen to read was written by Tasha Barker, a 17-year-old high school student from Vandalia. This is her letter. Tasha wrote, ``Dear Congressman Shimkus, I am writing you this letter to express my feelings about abortion. I feel that abortion is a horrible thing, and that killing an innocent life is awful.
