I’m asking for basic human decency.

Fellow Democrats, for far too long, we've been guilty of listening to a bunch of do-nothing political types who would tell you that America's house is not on fire, even as the flames were licking their faces.

While there are reports the Texas guard is leaving, the Trump Administration is also saying they will keep federalizing national guards to ‘ensure a constant, enduring, and long-term presence’ in cities.

My great fear, of course, is that with the release of that information, which I think will be devastating for Trump, he’s going to do everything in his power to distract.
