And Judy Chesser, the Deputy Commissioner of the Social Security Administration was pretty direct. Sometimes politicians are not very direct, but she had a very simple answer. She said no. This plan in no way harms, hurts, hinders, impacts the Social Security trust fund. So let us be honest about it, this is an important piece of legislation. We are going about saving Social Security here. This is a big day.”
