Will the Senator please tell us when was the last time this bill went through the committee process, for example, the Judiciary Committee? Secondly, has this bill, which is virtually identical to the Nebraska statute rejected by the Supreme Court, gone through committee hearings since the Supreme Court rejected this very same language in the Nebraska statute?
