There is a cost to this. It is not like all of a sudden the government is not going to get any cost if these people stop getting unemployment insurance. If they lose their health insurance, it is not as though they are going to not get treated in the emergency room if they get hit by a car on Monday. We are going to take care of them in the emergency room. We are all going to pay for it. This is wrong. I hope the Senator sticks around and renews this motion for a while. I hope some of us stick around and help. The American people need to realize how out of touch this place has gotten.
