The joint resolution will be stated by title. The legislative clerk read as follows: A joint resolution (H.J. Res 122) establishing the date for the counting of the electoral votes for President and Vice President cast by the electors in December 2012. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the joint resolution.
