on behalf of the majority leader, I ask unanimous consent that the time until 2:30 p.m. be equally divided between the two leaders or their designees for debate on the Reid motion to proceed to Calendar No. 251, S. 1944; that at 2:30 p.m., the Senate vote on the motion to proceed to S. 1944; that upon disposition of the Reid motion to proceed, it be in order for the Republican leader or his designee to move to proceed to Calendar No. 244, S. 1931; that there be 2 minutes of debate equally divided between the two leaders or their designees prior to the vote; that both motions to proceed be subject to a 60-vote threshold; finally, that the cloture motion relative to the motion to proceed to S. 1944 be vitiated.
