From the beginning of this nation, the drafting of the Constitution, we have grappled with one fundamental issue, many, but this one recurs. The issue of race and justice in America--a Constitution which acknowledged slavery, a nation which as recently as a few weeks ago in Ferguson, Missouri was reminded that it is still a challenge in this modern America despite all the progress that has been made, all the effort that has been put into it.
