In addition to her expansive litigation practice before California State courts, Judge de Alba handled many administrative law trials before a State agency as well as a Federal jury trial. Judge de Alba earned her B.A. with highest honors and her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. The American Bar Association has unanimously rated Judge de Alba as ``Qualified'' to serve on the Eastern District of California, and she also has received the strong support of her home State Senators, Mrs. Feinstein and Mr. Padilla.
