An effort to do this by unanimous consent is certainly understandable in light of the events of the last few weeks, but if Senator McConnell were to announce that as soon as we finish this banking bill, we are going to move to the Fix NICS bill and have it open to amendment, I think he would find support from both sides of the aisle to do that. I hope he will, because things are changing in America, as they should. Gun violence and the terrible tragedies that occurred in Texas and in Florida and in so many States have really raised consciousness of this issue. I am a grandfather and proud to be.
