I do struggle with this notion that the radio stations can pick anybody's performance and use it to their benefit and not compensate them.

The market has changed so dramatically. The public performance right looms so large in the eyes of the performers and the record companies.

As a matter of property rights, men and women who create and own a copyrighted work should have the right to get paid.

But this is your business, the selling of music, and advertising to go with it.
