Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it adjourn until 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 18; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for the two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day; and that following leader remarks, the Senate proceed to a period for the transaction of morning business until 10:30 a.m. for debate only, with Senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each, with the time equally divided or controlled between the two leaders or their designees; finally, that the Senate resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S. 953, the Offshore Production and Safety Act, as under the previous order.
