The president is among those nine percent. Twelve percent of Americans have a favorable view of Vladimir Putin. Most Americans recognize that Vladimir Putin is a murderous, autocrat, dictator, war criminal who instigated this war.
What we need is more humility. We need more of the ability to listen to each other, to treat each other respectfully. I think that's what the Democratic Party needs. That's what our country needs.
There's a cost to U.S. credibility and there's a cost to Trump's credibility by bluffing like this and then pulling back.
