The party should look deeper and say, why is it that so many people are disaffected from institutions in this country?
I think he is one of the things about Joe Biden is he is very, very concerned about his place in history and where his legacy sits and whether people appreciate the things that have been accomplished over the last four years.
What we need is more humility. We need more of the ability to listen to each other, to treat each other respectfully. I think that's what the Democratic Party needs. That's what our country needs.
I think there's a lot of concern among Republican officeholders. Governor Pawlenty could speak more readily to this than me.
