the House Democratic prescription drug proposal is a real one. It provides a solid $25-a-month premium cost, a $100-a-year deductible, coinsurance. Beneficiaries pay 20 percent, Medicare pays 80 percent, an out-of-pocket limit of $2,000 per year per beneficiary, and low-income beneficiaries with incomes of 150 percent of poverty will pay absolutely nothing. This is a real plan, a plan that benefits all of the people. Let us pass it.
