I rise in strong support of both these bills, H.R. 11 and H.R. 12. I think it is an excellent way to start the new session of Congress, to start the new year. I want to commend Chairman Mill and Representative DeLauro for their strong leadership on these issues for the last several years. I know that we ought to begin by saying that everybody has equal rights, equal opportunity, and equal pay.
