today I rise to salute the village of Bellwood, Illinois, which is celebrating its 100th year anniversary. It is a quiet, quaint little village made up of some of the finest people in this country. One of the ways that they decided to celebrate their 100th year anniversary was to give away 100 appreciation slips to individuals who had performed acts of kindness. And so, anybody who wanted to submit a person who performed an act of kindness in the village of Bellwood, all they had to do was submit to the mayor. So I commend Mayor Donald T. Lemm, all of the members of the board of trustees, and wish them another great 100 years.
