I am especially honored to see $355 million in CIG funds awarded to the South Shore Lines West Lake Corridor.

Ultimately, the furloughs and long-distance service cuts are misguided, and weaken our national passenger rail service.

I hope you take very seriously the credibility that you will lose by engaging in these furloughs.
