The rampant delays affecting Amtrak's trains threaten the railroad's growth and even its long-term viability as an operator.

I have always been a strong advocate for Amtrak, because it provides an important public service: national passenger rail service.

I believe that Congress should establish a dispute resolution process between commuter railroads and freight railroads at the STB.

Amtrak needs the support and the help from Congress.
