I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will report the amendment. The Clerk read as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), add the following new section: Sec. ___. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to enter into a contract with an offeror for the purchase of an American flag if, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation, the flag is certified as a foreign end product. The Acting CHAIR. The gentlewoman from Illinois is recognized for 5 minutes. {time} 2040
