I had obligations that necessitated my attention in Champaign, Illinois and missed suspension votes on S. 684, a bill to provide for the conveyance of certain parcels of land to the town of Alta, Utah and S. 404, a bill to modify a land grant patent issued by the Secretary of the Interior. Had I been present, I would have voted ``yea'' on the above stated bills. ____________________
