On the recordFebruary 15, 2012
On Wednesday, February 15, 2012 I was scheduled to fly out of Champaign, Illinois, on American Airlines Flight 4373 which was supposed to arrive in Chicago at 10 a.m. CST. This flight would have allowed me to make a connector flight to Washington in time for votes at 1:30 p.m. However, a maintenance issue on that flight unfortunately precluded my attendance for the first series of votes. Had I been present, I would have voted ``aye'' on Ordering the Previous Question and ``aye'' on adoption of H. Res. 547, the Rule for H.R. 3408. Further, I would have voted ``aye'' on H.R. 2079, to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 10 Main Street in East Rockaway, New York, as the ``John J. Cook Post Office''; H.R. 3247, to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 1100 Town and Country Commons in Chesterfield, Missouri, as the ``Lance Corporal Matthew P. Pathenos Post Office Building''; and H.R. 3248, to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 112 South 5th Street in Saint Charles, Missouri, as the ``Lance Corporal Drew W. Weaver Post Office Building.'' ____________________
