I’m proud to have worked closely with my colleague on the Ways and Means Committee Rep. Blake Moore to advance this legislation through the House.

This July 4th marks four years since Katherine Goldstein, Irina and Kevin McCarthy, Jacquelyn Sundheim, Nicolas Toledo-Zaragoza, Stephen Straus, and Eduardo Uvaldo were murdered in a senseless act of gun violence.

This resolution ensures we will never forget the seven souls lost that day—nor the survivors who live with trauma and grief.

I'll leave it to the people of Maine to elect who they want. I'm grateful I don't have to make that choice. I wouldn't want to have to make that choice.
