I am here today to request that the committee do two things. First, authorize $20 million for continued research on low-enriched uranium fuel for the pressurized water reactors for aircraft carriers and submarines; and, secondly, to realign the National Technical Nuclear Forensics, or NTNF, program from the Department of Homeland Security to the National Nuclear Security Administration.
