Barack Obama: “The United States looks forward to continuing to partner with the people and government of Burkina Faso.”

That was fantastic. I was a little tall for it.

And there’s no reason to suggest that we can’t get through this one either.

At least one of our major parties has been captured by politics that is not that subtle about suggesting that ‘We the people’ means a certain kind of people.

I am very happy to see a ceasefire. And I’m hopeful that it holds.
