Barack Obama: “I said I wanted to change the way Washington works so that it works for the American people.”

At least one of our major parties has been captured by politics that is not that subtle about suggesting that ‘We the people’ means a certain kind of people.

And there’s no reason to suggest that we can’t get through this one either.

I thought this was the South Side of Chicago.

This idea that any suggestion or criticism that America was anything other than perfect is unpatriotic... is a suggestion that you hate your country.
