Barack Obama: “I said today at the lunch over at the Congress that some may dispute the quality of our president, but nobody disputes…”

At least one of our major parties has been captured by politics that is not that subtle about suggesting that ‘We the people’ means a certain kind of people.

I thought this was the South Side of Chicago.

It shows me somebody who’s not focused on the American people and the job they’re supposed to do.

I hope this center will serve as an affirmation of just how special, how precious our democracy truly is.
