Barack Obama: “The future offered by extremists is not one of peace but violence, not of hope and opportunity but poverty and despair.”

This idea that any suggestion or criticism that America was anything other than perfect is unpatriotic... is a suggestion that you hate your country.

It shows me somebody who’s not focused on the American people and the job they’re supposed to do.

That was fantastic. I was a little tall for it.

Every president here today, as different as we are, has tried our best to uphold the values that John McCain and Mitt Romney believed in no less than I did.
