I know there's some people in my own party and in the other party who would rather prolong this battle, even if we can't reach a compromise....

Will they go along with him in the end? And which will Americans care more about? That he gave up on a campaign pledge to roll back tax cuts...

I actually don't think the politics on this are that bad for Barack Obama.
