You have never seen in the history of the United States the debt ceiling or the threat of not raising the debt ceiling being used to extort a president or a governing party and trying to force issues that have nothing to do with the budget and have nothing to do with the debt.

People aren't looking for perpetual anger and division. They are looking for fairness and common sense and mutual respect, that deep in our gut, we want to find a way to turn towards each other again, not further away.
This idea that any suggestion or criticism that America was anything other than perfect is unpatriotic... is a suggestion that you hate your country.
That's what I hope every visitor to this center takes away from their experience.
