Barack Obama: “Michelle and I were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a true giant of journalism, David Broder.”

Please join me in supporting Sherrod Brown. He’ll always fight for Ohio.

And I will fight for that, even if I don’t always think it’s going to win.

Looking forward to being in Detroit on 10/24 to campaign for Jocelyn Benson, Abdul El-Sayed and Democrats up and down the ballot in Michigan.

I think when we act on that basis, it doesn't always work out, but over time things do get better.
