Barack Obama: “My fellow Americans, we are made for this moment, and we will seize it, so long as we seize it together.”

I hope this center will serve as an affirmation of just how special, how precious our democracy truly is.

This idea that any suggestion or criticism that America was anything other than perfect is unpatriotic... is a suggestion that you hate your country.

The essence of Prop. 50 is to say that if you are going to play that game, then we are going to try to counteract that abuse of the system.

That's what I hope every visitor to this center takes away from their experience.
