On day one, I will end this war. Not because politics compels it. Not because our troops cannot bear the burden as heavy as it is. But because it is the right thing to do.

Those are all topics that we have to be able to discuss honestly and forthrightly, while we still insist that in that process of debate, we respect other people's right to say things that we profoundly disagree with.
That then makes them more interested in appeals by folks who say, 'The reason you don't feel respected is because women have been doing this, or this group has been doing that.' And that is not a healthy place to be.
There’s been, I gather, some argument between the left of the party and people who are promoting the quote-unquote abundance agenda. Listen, those things are not contradictory.
I think it’s going to require a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining and being in fetal positions.
