Barack Obama: “I just wanted to express, on behalf of the American people, our deepest sympathies for the incredible and tragic loss…”

And I will fight for that, even if I don’t always think it’s going to win.

Please join me in supporting Sherrod Brown. He’ll always fight for Ohio.

This race is going to be close. It could determine which party controls the Senate and whether Ohioans can count on the people in Washington to be fighting for you.

When we choose, when we make that decision, I do believe – and there is evidence for this – that the world gets incrementally better, and that is a worthy goal and it’s worth fighting for.
