Barack Obama: “Nobody should have to fight for a job or a roof over their heads when they have fought for America's freedom.”

It shows me somebody who’s not focused on the American people and the job they’re supposed to do.

We designed the center not to be some lifeless mausoleum.

At least one of our major parties has been captured by politics that is not that subtle about suggesting that ‘We the people’ means a certain kind of people.

I hope this center will serve as an affirmation of just how special, how precious our democracy truly is.
